More rotation positions will be added! Daughters At The Range will be held on April 29, 2023.  Promoting firearm safety through education, and an introduction to the sport of shooting. Resulting in smiling, confident young ladies and families involved in shooting sports for a lifetime. FREE EVENT for registered participants!

SAGC membership is NOT required. The registration is open to the public.

Instructions for each rotation:

  • Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each rotation to allow time for the required releases. Rotation times include safety orientations, plus approximately 1 hour on the range, followed by presentation of certificates and photos. Allow approximately 2.5 hours from arrival to departure.
  • Please select your preferred rotations by choices 1, 2 or 3. We cannot guarantee your first choice, but will do our best to accommodate. You will receive schedule instructions with your rotation time. Rifle Rotations begin with orientations at: 8:30 9:30 10:30 11:30 1:30 2:30 3:30. (Arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled rotation to allow time for registration and releases). Pistol Rotations begin with orientations at: 8:30 9:30 10:30 11:30 1:30 2:30 3:30. (Arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled rotation to allow time for registration and releases). First you will receive acknowledgement of your request for registration by email, followed by a second email with the assigned rotation time and instructions. The firearms, bench supports, ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection will be provided for the participants. The young ladies will use .22 Marlin Rifles with Sweet 22 Scopes from the bench or Browning 1911-22 pistols. You must use the firearms provided by DATR!
  • All family members should dress appropriately for the range: cap, closed toe shoes, long pants, and t-shirt style tops–ejecting brass is hot! The eye and ear protection will be provided (or you may bring your own). Don’t forget your sunscreen!!!
